Elf Tonight is run by [trading name to be added], [postal address to be added], who is responsible for your details (the "controller" under UK GDPR). Questions: hello@elftonight.co.uk.

What we keep

• Your email address, so we can send the nightly emails.
• The children's first names and your elf's name, if you give them at checkout. We only use them in the notes and letters. Leave them blank if you prefer.
• What you paid, and which emails we've sent you.

We don't see or store your card details. Stripe handles payment.

Why

To deliver what you bought (the contract between us). We don't send marketing, and we don't sell or share your details.

Who helps us

• Stripe: takes the payment.
• Resend: sends the emails.
• Cloudflare: runs the website and stores the list of buyers.

Some of these companies process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK law requires.

How long

Everything is deleted automatically on 1 February 2027, after the season ends. Stripe keeps its own payment records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled them, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
